Pendampingan Pencatatan Keuangan Berbasis Microsoft Excel pada UMKM Jasa Persewaan

Abstrak

This community service activity aimed to strengthen financial recording practices at Sewakursilipat.sda, a micro enterprise providing outdoor equipment rental services in Wadungasih, Buduran, Sidoarjo. The main problem identified was that transactions were recorded manually through a mobile memo application and were not yet separated from personal finances, making it difficult for the owner to evaluate cash flow, profitability, and business sustainability. The activity was conducted through needs assessment, semi-structured interviews, SWOT analysis, business process mapping, and mentoring in the preparation of a Microsoft Excel-based accounting system. The output consisted of a chart of accounts, beginning balance input, general and special journals, ledger, worksheet, income statement, statement of changes in equity, and cash flow statement. The activity showed that a simple Excel-based system can improve the structure, accuracy, and usability of financial information for micro-enterprises. Continued mentoring is recommended so the owner can use the system consistently and develop stronger data-based business decisions.
